Mike "Mick" Veit is the founder and owner of Cardinal Home Solutions LLC. Mike is a licensed home improvement contractor (State of CT), a licensed water restoration technician (WRT-IICRC), a licensed fire and smoke restoration technician (FSRT-IICRC), and a licensed property and casualty claims adjuster (State of CT, RI & NH). Mike's unique background allows him to provide a level of service and expertise that most cannot match.

Prior to creating Cardinal Home Solutions, LLC, Mike served as the reconstruction manager for a local restoration company. Wherein, he managed the entire customer service experience by planning and successfully executing all residential and commercial projects, overseeing all contractors, negotiating with insurance companies, and providing a high quality of service in all of his dealings. Prior to his time as a reconstruction manager, Mike worked for two local insurance companies within the claims department. Mike has experience as a multi-line adjuster who handled automobile physical damage claims, automobile bodily injury claims, residential and commercial property damage claims, and was a co-founder and co-operator of a Special Investigations Unit. Mike ultimately specialized in residential and commercial property claims where he handled all property claims throughout the entire State of CT for his company while overseeing independent claim adjusters in NJ, NY, CT, RI, MA, NH, and ME.

Mike comes from a family of tradesmen and servicemen. His great grandfather came to the United State of America to work as a carpenter in New York City and many of his proceeding family members followed the same craftsman path or worked to serve our great country in the Armed Forces.

Mike is very compassionate and thankful towards our veterans, active duty military, and to all of our first responders. One of the foundational mission statements at Cardinal Home Solutions LLC will be to always give back to these communities. 

On a personal note, Mike enjoys playing the guitar, exploring new music, attending live performances (especially bluegrass), tending his garden, or going for a long hike in the woods. Mike also enjoys fishing, golfing, and routing for the Boston Celtics.
